Smash Palace is all about good times with great live music, delicious drinks + food and awesome locals. It's also a function venue like no other !

Live Music
The Home of Live Music in Gisborne - and judged the Best Music Entertainment Venue in New Zealand !
For the past 34 years, Smash Palace has been pumping out the hottest live sounds in Gisborne's industrial subdivision with acts like Head Like A Hole, Gin Wigmore, Jon Toogood, Jordan Luck Band, Paua, as well as local heroes Uni-Fi, Sit Down In Front, Oceanspace and Lazy Fifty to name a few; turning on huge nights for music lovers.

Tuesday nights from 6 we get vocal with Pub Choir Gisborne raising the roof - everyone's welcome and you get a free singing lesson !
Thursday nights from 7 are a regular live music "must-do" as Gizzy's finest muso's and guests "Build-A-Band" - jamming up a storm.

When warmer nights are here we use the incredible outdoor stage, but otherwise the indoor stage at Smash Palace is pumping every Friday and Saturday night !
