Smash Palace is all about good times with great live music, delicious drinks + food and awesome locals. It's also a function venue like no other ! Open from 3 every day except Monday and from midday Saturday.

The Home of Live Music in Gisborne - and judged the Best Music Entertainment Venue in New Zealand !
For the past 25 years, Smash Palace has been pumping out the hottest live sounds with acts like Skankamelia, One One One, The Nervous Surgeons to name a few turning on huge nights for music lovers.
Friday nights from 8 should be in your diary as a regular live music "must-do" as Gizzy's finest muso's "Build-A-Band" - jamming up a storm.
When sunny days are here we use the outdoor stage, but otherwise the indoor stage at Smash Palace is pumping every Saturday night ! A growing collection of more than 500 vinyl albums is regularly spun on the Smash Palace turntables before and after the live acts.

The finest beers and ciders on tap, RTD's + non-alcoholic drinks in the chiller and blow-torched pizza + deep fried goodness from the kitchen ... smashing !
On tap: Steinlager Classic, Gisborne Gold, Sunshine Brewery Off Shore IPA, Speights, Macs Green Beret, Macs Gold, Macs Mid Vicious (2.5 %), Lion Red, Tui, Export Gold, Harvest Cider, Bulmer Harvest.
Non-alcoholic drinks: Locally produced First Press range of grape juices - Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Rose & Merlot. Locally produced Gladstone's Ginger Beer, Bundaberg Ginger Beer, local organic Hill Road orange juice, Kiri OJ, DB Citrus 0% Beer + the usual soft drinks.
